Toys for Afghanistan
You heard James Holland on the show this morning, and he'll be at the Sam Swope Discount Auto Center on Saturday (June 30th) from 11-2. Here's what he's hoping to collect:
Toys like:
-Kites
-Soccer balls or playground balls
-Yo-Yos
-Frisbees
-any other simple toys
-Coloring books, crayons
Supplies like:
-Diapers
-Formula
Clothing like:
-any gently used kids clothing (summer or sprin
-kids shoes
These items will be shipped to Chaplain Kerry Wentworth in Afghanistan to be distributed to the local children in the areas where the armed forces are serving. This is part of James Holland's Eagle Scout project.
